ABOUT GWINNETT ARTS RECOVERY FUND
The Gwinnett Hospitality, Arts, and Entertainment Grant Fund will provide limited funding to assist Gwinnett County 501(c)(3) arts organizations. These funds are American Rescue Plan (ARP) federal grant funds received by Gwinnett County. These funds will be administered, determined and disbursed by Explore Gwinnett Tourism + Film. (Please note: this is a completely separate grant program from the Gwinnett Creativity Fund).
- Final Application Period: October 25, 2024 - November 22, 2024
- Eligibility Requirements:
- Organizations that have already received Explore Gwinnett arts recovery funding are eligible (expenses that have already received funding cannot be submitted again)
- Applicants must have been in business and operating for two years before applying
- Applicants must be active 501(c)(3) organizations with IRS form 990 on file
- Organizations must be actively engaged in year-round arts and cultural programming in Gwinnett County
- Eligible Expenses:
- This reimbursement grant is limited to: Rent, Utilities, and Venue Rentals. Eligible expenses must have been incurred and paid in 2024.
- Award Amount:
- Budgets $1 million - $2 million, maximum award $15,000
- Budgets $500,000 - $999,000, maximum award $7,500
- Budgets $101,000 - $499,000, maximum award $5,000
- Budgets under $100,000, maximum award $2,500
- *Please note, applicants should submit for the maximum award offered per category. However, full funding may not be available dependent on number of applications.
REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS:
- IRS Exempt Determination Letter indicating 501(C)(3) status
- IRS Form W-9
- Rental Lease (Leasee must be the Organization applying; Countersigned current document required). Venue rental can be administrative offices as well as event venue rental. (Rent and Utilities cannot be applied for work from home spaces.)
- Utility Bill(s)
- Receipt of Payment(s)
- Proof of Payment (bank statements required)
